The first meeting of the heads of customs services in the Central Asia-China format took place. The meeting was held via videoconference, chaired by the head of the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China and with the participation of the leadership of the customs departments of Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Colleagues discussed such topics as customs clearance simplification, cooperation within the framework of the Single Window project, exchange of experience in the development of Smart Customs, mutual recognition of the status of an authorized economic operator (AEO), as well as the fight against customs offenses and the exchange of information. The parties approved the draft regulation on regular meetings of the heads of the customs services "Central Asia-China", according to the GTTS website. The mechanism of regular meetings of the heads of customs services aims to actively promote the security and facilitation of trade between the six countries, as well as the implementation of the relevant agreements reached in the framework of the meetings of the heads of state
