After a successful training as a forwarding agent and passing his degree as a traffic specialist at AeroseA GmbH, he joined the Merk-Reisen at the time of the flourishing market within the CIS countries in order to build up a cargo department with a focus on CIS countries. In 2006, the freight division under his leadership had developed so promisingly that he founded Merk-Cargo GmbH together with two other shareholders. In 2008, Heinrich Waal became the sole shareholder of Merk-Cargo GmbH and together with the renaming of the company in Kras-Logistics, successfully expanded the business by acquiring Transcana GmbH. In the following years he founded branches in Krasnodar, Prague, Moscow and London. Heinrich Waal is today the sole shareholder and CEO of Kras-Logistics GmbH.
