Natig Jafarov has an extensive professional experience in multimodal transport and logistics infrastructure development, as well as cross-border commodity and services trade. His multicountry work experience includes design, construction and operation of free economic zones, terminals and petrol stations network in UAE, Turkey, Switzerland, Moldova and Azerbaijan. Since 2015, Natig Jafarov is involved in spearheading development of Azerbaijan’s capacity as a transport hub connecting China and Central Asia with Black Sea regions and Europe, and Indian Ocean and Persian Gulf with Russia and Northern Europe. Currently, he is focusing on overall containerization process and multimodal freight forwarding services in and across Azerbaijan. Natig Jafarov holds master’s degrees in international relations from University of Lund of Sweden and the Presidential Academy of Public Administration of Azerbaijan.
